Westronics provided the security and fire systems for a major client, whose UK headquarters were based directly behind the Buncefield site and as a result of the explosion their building suffered massive impact.

These headquarters housed security and fire capabilities from one central processor for all their UK offices throughout the UK .

Forward Planning – Ongoing Back Up
The explosion devastated the building and the central processing computer was destroyed but due to the robustness of the Westronics system all of the clients peripheral offices continued to function with security and fire systems fully operational.

When the Westronics engineers were allowed back onto the disaster site the central processor data was retrieved and installed at the clients temporary HQ. Connection to the company’s other UK sites was fully restored allowing the client to concentrate on rebuilding his business safe in the knowledge that the sites were secure.

The Buncefield site is proof that disasters can happen anywhere and at anytime, forward planning and protection of property and staff is essential if a business is to survive such a devastating occurrence. CCTV - Children's Charity
Our clients, a major childrens charity needed a bespoke system to provide extensive CCTV coverage to their school. All classrooms and strategic locations were to be monitored for both vision and audio to provide a safe secure environment for both teachers and pupils.
